6oz. serving in a tulip glass. Pours the color and clarity of ruby red grapefruit juice. Head consists of a tight, soapy swirl. Nose is briny with hints of citrus pith - I really don't get much in the way of berries in the aromas. The berries make the flavor profile much much more balanced than the base beer and some lactose notes also come out. The mouthfeel on this beer is spot on - the perfect balance of carbonation, body and acidity. Overall, a nice Berlinner; however, there are still some of the off-flavors present from Old Gerty.
