Lemon / Lime / Earthy / "green & leafy" flavored Table Saison. Highly carbonated & light bodied beer. Bright and clean. Minimal acidity. Has some creaminess in the body. Lighter tartness and on the more rustic side than a significant amount of Afterthought Saisons which I actually appreciate quite a bit. It's a winner for sure

The smell was really nice and you could smell the hops coming thorough. This one was nice and crisp with a bit of tartness to it. It had a very nice dry finish that makes this a really nice summer beer.

Pours a cloudy golden straw color. One to two finger white sudsy head. Head steadily collapses leaving just a thin layer of velvety foam on top of the beer.
Aroma is quite nice - there is the underlying saison with notes of grain, a touch of yeasty funk, with a slight peppery note. Overlaying all of that are the lovely saaz hops - they provide it with a bright herbal, grassy, hop aroma with a slight, very slight, hint of lemongrass.
Taste is remarkable and frankly unexpected given the aroma. The flavor profile is slightly tart with bright notes of lemon, a slight earthy funk, bright spicy pepper notes and some light grains underlying the more dominant flavors. The saaz hops help provide some bright earthiness and a touch of spiciness. Honestly, this is delicious, although it really isn't what you'd expect from the nose.
Feel is lively and vibrant with bright carbonation. Finish is quite dry with a rather abrupt ending on the back end.
Overall I expected to like this one, but not this much - its really delicious.

Pure clear golden pour with some tiny bubble on the surface. The saaz hops are the key to this beer, making it a fun take on the saison with bit of a pilsner aftertaste. Flavors includes: lemon, oak, slight mineral, lemon, grass and a bright funkiness. Smell is boozier, but still light, featuring lemon, lime, flowers, grass, and some herbal dankness. Starts wet but finishes drier and crisp.

Brno is a bright golden saison. Straw golden, to be precise. A slight haze persists but you can see the shadows of everything throughout its background. A densely packed, purely white bubbled foam rises quickly on the pour before crackling down to a solid cap. That cap shows some nice staying power and the ability to leave intricate drink lines that slowly fall back to the body.
These Afterthought beers just smell outstanding. This one is packed to the gills with freshly cut grass and an accompanying hop spiciness. A solid waft of mustiness runs the middle before the pear apricot orchard fruitiness kicks in. There's a welcomed dose of white grape acidity and dry, splintery oak on the backend that builds on the already layered layers. This stuff will get the mouth watering.
That white grape acidity moves from the backend on the nose, to the forefront in the flavor. White grape acidity and a soft, dry oak presence. Fresh cut grass buzzsaws the middle along with the orchard fruitiness I mentioned above. All these flavors are tight and bright. It's a little hop spicy on the finish with a squeeze of lemon. This stuff is complex but nuanced with an incredible vibrancy.
The body is light and effervescent and airy. The bubbles speed up as it runs over the tongue and they create a frothiness on the swallow. It's softly tart, mildly bitter. The finish is dry and leaves both those effects lingering. Drinkability is off the charts. This almost can't be drank fast enough.
Brno is another mighty fine beer from Afterthought. It's bright and vibrant while ticking all the saison boxes. It's got that bit of tart and bit of must which add tons of depth. Good fruitiness and the Saaz really show nicely. I can't recommend this stuff enough.

Pale pastel yellow, lightly hazed. Ample foam, arcs of delicate lacing.
Minerally aroma, grassy lemony Saaz, slight dry hop herbal skunk.
Tart and crisp, fresh lemon, very effervescent, bone dry finish.
Light bodied and quenching, tasty and uncomplicated. Fantome-esque.
