they have some issues with fermentation in here, this is really phenolic, like it was done just way too warm, and its a tough one to drink, although perhaps at least a little more appropriate here than in their ipa, which was inexcusable. this one is pale, a little cloudy, and a little flat from the tap. aroma of ripe banana, lemon cleaner, and a white winey french saison type yeast absolutely running wild. some peach notes in the flavor makes it kind of juicy and is nice with the raw wheaty base on this, i think the beer is actually pretty well built before the yeast part, but this is really sharp and off to me in the finish from the yeast, and i just cant get into it. it gets increasingly intense as it warms too. i like a little yeast spice and ester in my saison, dont get me wrong, but this is so far over the line that its flawed to me. lack of carbonation doesnt help anything here either, and frankly this was a really forgettable beer. i didnt really care for any of them that we drank in here...
