Appearance: Hazy, cloudy gold. Frothy white head with excellent retention. Medium rising bubbles.
Aroma: Yeast forward. Funky, yeasty aroma. Low hops aroma.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Low bitterness. Peppery
Mouth-feel: Light to medium bodied. High carbonation. Short dry finish with lingering bitterness.
Overall: This is a first class, well crafted Saison style. It is light and crisp. Has the expected funky, estery aromas. Peppery flavors. Highly carbonated. Culminates in a short dry finish. I am not a big Saison drinker, but this is one I could have often. It's obvious it will pair well with a lot of foods. Features Merkur and Hallertau hops. Pilsner malt.

500ml bottle - $7.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a straw-hued body with a medium degree of haze. Atop, a medium-small, airy, white head of froth.
Smell: Plumes of pils, whiffs of wheat and a slight, cooked cereal quality. Lemony, lightly floral rounded with some phenolics and stonefruit esters.
Taste: Softly bready barley and wheat mixture stirred up with a touch of sweet custard cream. Well-ripened orchard fruitiness, plenty of apricot, peach and apple. Modest phenols sporting some shaven clove and stale pepper elements. Minimal hop bitterness. The light spice, light sweetness, moderate fruitiness and a welcome amount of spritziness remain through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. A decent level of suds but also an underlying wheaten creaminess.
Overall: A solid, well-built saison, even if I prefer mine just a bit on the drier, leaner side.
