Sampled on tap at the brewery. Review from notes. Served in pint glass.
Appearance - Clear ruby red beer with a small half finger of pinkish head.
Smell - Molasses, a touch of nuts and plenty of grape as expected.
Taste - Plenty f grape and not as much with the subtleties of bitterness, light fruitiness and breadiness of an ESB. Nuttiness and richness of molasses in the aroma is gone in the taste. Other fruits are mixed in flavor wise with low bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with low carbonation and pretty easy to drink.
Overall - Too much grape to be a great ESB but a decent brew and enjoyable, the grape flavors are mixed in well.
