Beer poured a very dark bluish/violet/cranberry color. Appearance was quite nice and unusual. Beer was slightly hazy as well. Had a slighlty purple, minimal head with no lacing; low carbonation. The taste was crisp with berries up front and little to no hop bitterness. As others had noted, a nice summer beer.

Hazy light amber color. Minimal off-white head. Slight aroma of blackberries and a little sweetness thrown in for good measure. Taste was on the tart side, with a slight blackberry flavor creeping in at the end. Crisp and snappy finish. Mouthfeel was OK, with a medium-bodied character noted. Drinkability was good as well. A good summer beer to quench the thirst after some yardwork in the humid air.
