Fugu is our saison with Yuzu. This complex, dry beer combines the spicy yeast character of our saison blend with a hint of smoked malts and the refreshing bitter and lemon-like flavours of the Yuzu fruit.

Hops: HBC682, Spalter Select
Malts: Malted Oats, Pils, Rauch, Rye
Yeast: KH Saison Blend

look: 3.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4.25
While this Fugu seems to be a similar recipe with the same ABV, yuzu was added here. And that seems like a good experiment as yuzu is known to be refreshing. And Fugu was refreshing on what seemed like the first day of spring at this off-beat micro. Fugu was also welcome after drinking a tart gruit.

Fugu yuzu Looks low-key in this foamy style, slightly below average. Smells certainly are fruity. Tastes are balanced by sufficient herbs & hops. Medium-mouthed.

Again, I give very good Overall Hugs to Haring to wish them well in what certainly will be their new home in the near years.
