My favorite of thier brews. Smoke is heavy on the nose but subsidies on the taste. Actually kind of seasionable. The saison buried underneath is even pretty light on the overwhelming bubble gum yeasty esters, to boot.

smoke is key characteristic. saison behind it. best of the new ones by him. drinkable if a bit rough and sour.yellow body. decent sipper. above average mouthfeel.

Not really a fan of the nose on this one. The smoke dominates, obscuring anything else. Flavour is better. The smoke is prominent, giving a bit of a pork flavour, but other flavours come through. Some spices, a bit of light fruit. Strongly carbonated.
