Can: Poured a copper color bitter with an off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of nice dry caramel malt notes with some subdued hops notes. Taste is a good mix of dry caramel malt notes with some light dry hops notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well made bitter.

Nice to drink this style fresh r/t the usual cans of undetermined age from the UK. A lot of pleasant fruity esters and caramel. Super sessionable. You’ll wish you could take home a dozen or more.

caramel aroma, caramel and mollasses taste initially, yielding to some of the hop bitterness in the finish.

Deep copper/light brown body, a touch hazy, briefly forming a fine sand-coloured head, short retention.
Aromas of mildly sweet caramel malt, rye bread, hint of pine hops.
Taste has matching light caramel sweetness from the malt, sharply crisp feel, with a pronounced bitter hop finish providing balance and leaving the palate dry as can be; well attenuated, there surprisingly little sweetness, making this a refreshing, easy drinking lager with a bit more flavour than a basic lager; medium body and carbonation.
Very well balanced and super drinkable, this is a great everyday choice. More malt character would amp up the score.
