drank at the brewery, they poured the 16 oz can into a glass
clear, dark red in color, not much head. aroma was pleasant mix of tart fruit and mild caramel malt, a little woody. similar taste, although not quite as complex as some of the Belgian classics from this style.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours a clear reddish brown with a small off-white head that quickly fades to nothing. Zero lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel and brown sugar with some dark fruit, leather, and oak. Taste is similar but not quite as sweet as I feared. Mouthfeel has fairly low carbonation with decent body. Overall it's not a great style example, but is still enjoyable to drink.
