Part 1 of a 2-part collaboration with our friends at Voodoo Brewery. This imperial stout was aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for 2 years.

Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a tiny dark tan head; decent lace.
Oak, dark chocolate, bourbon heat & mild cream notes in the nose. M
edium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Oak & dark chocolate flavors up front; mild cream & strong bourbon heat notes on the finish.
Robust, certainly, and you can tell it was bourbon barrel aged, but this isn't exactly subtle. Good, not great.
