16 ounce can into a snifter. Had 6/19/21.
Pours a dark amber, semi opaque, with no real head or lacing. Aromas of vanilla, caramel, malt, light marshmallow, a little bit of a burnt aroma. Flavors of caramel, vanilla, malt, some cream soda (h/t to @GuyFawkes- I couldn’t place that flavor, but he’s spot on). It’s a little sweet. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
Pretty straightforward and focused but the caramel and vanilla are well executed and intense. Very enjoyable.

Released 5/21/21; drank 6/11/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; thick lace.
Cream soda, burnt caramel & vanilla syrup notes in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Cream soda & caramel syrup flavors up front; vanilla syrup notes on the finish.
Cloying & syrup-y; not one I'll seek out again. Tough to finish.

Had on tap. Mostly clear classic brown, with a tiny beige ring. Huge caramel and vanilla nose with barley, date, and booze in the nose. Taste is much the same, dark fruits especially date and plum are surrounded by caramel with bright vanilla tones, decent barley and booze peak through on the finish. Feel is sweet and brighter for style, but very smooth, full and slightly warm. Good dessert barleywine, but a taproom delight in the sweetness catching up after many ounces. The wife loved it
