Had this one on tap at the brewery. This one had a really nice deep brown look to it. It had lots of caramel, raisin, and toffee with a nice wave of chocolate that builds towards the end. This is pretty sweet but it works as the sweetness helps to offset the booziness. Very nice.

Had on tap. It is BA roaming elephants with enhanced barrel and a darker yet deeper complexion, incredible. Appears to be the darkest brown possible, almost looks black, no head. Smell and taste are the same: huge caramel, rich bourbon, molasses, golden raisin, and toffee leading, great toasty wood to balance, with accents of earth, barley, and chocolate supporting, finished by a creme brulee and oxidation kiss. This is a masterpiece of a barleywine, though admittedly on the sweeter side. Great barrel in the feel, warm viscous smooth feel without being too heavy or syrupy, barley emerges through the sip. BA karma was a masterpiece, and this follows in its footsteps, amazing
