This wee stout packs a big and flavorful roasty punch. An old school malt bill of Marris Otter, roasted barley, and pale chocolate lends notes of fresh soda bread, dark Cadbury chocolate, and dark espresso delivered on a velvety, jet black body.

16 ounce can, no dating on it that I noticed. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee, dark chocolate, dark bread and some earthiness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, worth a try if you like Irish style stouts!

Glad to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with More, founded by immigrant brothers and brewers... who are not Irish.
Story Horse Looks the part of an Irish Dry Stout: dark, healthy foam, not too much lace. Smells of mostly malt roasted. Similar Tastes, but the chocolate comes in quickly and stays through the dry finish. Feel is not rich, but my copy also is not a nitro... which I think a lot of Irish stouts lean on to get softness.
I give More generous Overall Hugs because it is versatile: prolific in the IPA and stout space, but I've found More good in the Belgian tradition which is harder for young brewers.

Had on nitro tap. Lighter black body with a full tan head and moderate lacing. Smells of roasted malt, char and dark chocolate. Taste is much the same, some earth lingers. Feel is thinner than say a guinness draught, but roasty, dry and frothy with limited creaminess. Good for a cold wet saint patrick's

Released 2/24/22; drank 4/10/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big tan head; strong tree-rung lace.
Dark chocolate, mild fresh earth & faint mint notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Fresh earth, mild dark chocolate & faint mint flavors.
Substantial & enjoyable. I'd have another!

16 oz can into a pint glass.
Very dark brown with a small tan head that quickly faded to a thin cap. Aroma is very nutty and roasted, almost lightly charred/smoky malt. The char is noticeable in the taste and accompanied by some mild hop bitterness that can become a puckering sourness in the aftertaste. Medium-full bodied and a little chewy.

Pours dark brown with very good carbonation that a three finger foam that sculpts into a beautiful head that leaves wonderful lacing. Aroma is malty with some roast characteristics. Taste is much lighter than anticipated, somewhat watery and mild with little of the promise of roasted malt. It is a fair imitation of Irish stouts.
