Named for the water connection fee imposed during our build out. Its a lot of $$, but better than running a brewery on well water. Each batch made is slightly different because we let two yeast strains battle it out for most malt consumed.

For a strong ale, not bad. A little bit of an aftertaste on first taste but overall smooth. Would drink again when at brewery but their bourbon barrel strong ale is better.

My last at the Kenosha 5k Border War Beer Fest (and Buffalo Creek was the only brewer I drank from Illinois even though the Wisconsin brewers were equal in number... they just don't distribute in Illinois. Wonder why?
Anyway...
42k Needs yeast made by the masters. 10&1/2% is not easy to conceal and Buffalo Creek did not... and a yeast helps.
My second from BC, they are reviewed under their saison.

From 16oz can, pours a cloudy golden color, with an eggshell colored head, no lacing to speak of. The aroma of what I assume to be Belgjan yeast dominates the the snot locker and taste buds. The 10.5% abv is very well hidden. Immnot a big fan of the style, but i will look for something else from Buffalo Creek.
