Draft at BitterCreek. Starts off promising and goes downhill from there. Hazy golden pour, soft head. Mild fruity aroma, some yeast, same with taste. Doesn’t go anywhere, kind of bland.

16oz pint growler courtesy of friend Mark. No info besides it being a saison, and had apparently been sitting in his fridge for months.
Poured into a Belgian-ish glass, this was a chill hazed honey-amber color, with a decent, roughly 1 1/2" head.
Pineapply sweetness up front, with some grassy, spicy, herbal notes coming out to play once it warmed up a bit.
Thick, sweet pineapple juice flavor up front. In the middle, a more typical Belgian spiciness steps up to make it's presence felt, and balances the opening sweetness quite well. Finish is modestly dry.
Medium bodied, with a mouthfeel a little too thick for a saison, and a little undercarbonated for the style.
Different take on the style, but not bad at all. I would definitely have this again. Thanks, Mark!
