Dark honey amber body; thin tet lasting head; creamy; sheets of foam along the sides of the glass. Faint caramel malt aroma. Caramel sweetness on the palate with a touch of smoke; decent bitterness. Medium bodied with some residual sugar heft; dry sweetness to finish.
Had this on tap at Oskar Blues in Colorado Springs. All in all, a tasty, malt-forward beer with a nice smokey edge.
