A classic Czech style pilsner. Bright, crisp, and super clean. Brewed with 100% Pilsner Malt, Zuper Saazer and Halletaur Tradition. Nothing added and nothing subtracted; just pure.

Was lucky enough to get this beer and a bunch of others from Nick on his recent visit to San Diego. Untappd’s description was “A classic Czech Style Pilsner. Bright, crisp, and super clean. Brewed with 100% Pilsner Malt, Zuper Saazer and Halletaur Tradition. Nothing added and nothing subtracted just pure.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with four fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides and from the bottom of the glass. Excellent semi-layered lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Czech Saaz, black pepper, dry biscuit, sourdough bread, Shredded Wheat cereal, corn and earthy pilsner malt. Not as good with each whiff on the way down. Not as good from the can either. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. In order got Czech Saaz, Noble hops, black pepper, dry biscuit, sourdough bread, chalk, Shredded Wheat cereal, corn and earthy pilsner malt. (Taste - 3.50)
Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Was back and forth on a few categories for this one but overall it was very good. (Overall - 3.75)

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had wet grain and white wine presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with grass and white grape presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer.

Crystal clear. A fine shade darker than straw. Impressive initial head which takes about 5 minutes to recede to surface film. Decent amount of lace--some streaks, mostly spots.
Clean, dry very pale malt aroma on the first whiff. Some prickly hop smell--a cross between floral and spicy.
Lower carbonation with a neutral to fuller body, the taste has a faint sour element, but is mostly dry pale malt (with a bit of background stone fruit) and white pepper bite in the swallow. Reasonably long mostly bitter aftertaste. It's more of a crisp kick than smooth, floral Czech pils.

Clear pale yellow, foamy and soapy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Sweet lemon, toasty biscuity malt on the nose, doughy and floral. Slight green pepper edge.
Doughy biscuit malt upfront, lemon zest, floral, slight honey, green vegetal bell pepper flesh. Slightly buttery and nutty, and then a clean finish.
Medium-ish body, well carbonated, neither light nor heavy. Well balanced feel.
The buttery/nutty is odder than your typical sulphuric note from Czech pilsners, but it is not unpleasant. This remains a quaffable and tasty beverage.
