Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival, as is normal at this brewery, half a finger of head sat on top of a clear golden body.
Aroma is of a corny mildly hoppy, extremely clean lager. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Mexican style pale lager.
Flavor isn't quite as clean as the aroma suggests, there is a strange, almost spicy, lightly savory flavor right up front that fades very quickly. After that it follows the aroma with the corny malts as well as the light hop flavor, although it is a bit more hoppy than the aroma suggests as well.
The feel is a bit heavier than expected with a surprisingly long and malty finish. It doesn't feel all that heavy up front but it does build.
Overall this is a decent lager, amd while there are some things I'm picking up I don't love, it has none of the off flavors you'd find in a true macro Mexican lager.
