Collaboration with Sante Adarius Brewing Company. Deep orange with a rich body, hints of oak, mandarin, and a squeeze of lemon. We really appreciate Sante Adairius and their approach to mixed culture beer. It was an honor to make this beer with them all those months ago.

Had on tap. Clear amber orange body with a white ring and momentary webbing. Aromas of honeycomb, orange, lemon peel, flowers, bright yet gentle oak, and wild yeast. Taste follows the nose, has the yogurt bacteria on the edges and light funk, oak is slightly more assertive, with hints of pear, hay and light bread added as it warms. Feel is lightly sour, very delicate and artful in delivery, bright and light with the wild flair on the finish. Sip slowly and enjoy the emerging complexities

500ml bottle, dated 03.05.2020, poured into a Half Acre "occult" snifter glass.
The beer pours a bright orange color, copper hues with a touch of gold and a finger of white head that has moderate retention and spotted lacing. The aroma is lovely, citrus, wildflower, moderate funk, light yogurt, pale grain, soft oak and dry leaves. The flavors are good, much like the nose with a nice juicy citrus quality, tangerine with a touch of lemon peel, nice funky cultures, bacterial with a bit of yogurt, pale dough, soft vinous oak, wildflower and a nice earthy grassiness. The mouthfeel is good, coating, very lively medium body, tart and tangy with a dry finish.
Verdict: A very nice wild saison from Half Acre and Sante Adairius. Bright, fresh, delicate and so pleasantly tart. Sante has a very distinctive bacteria in their beers and this is reminiscent but unique in its own right.
