16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.49 plus tax. Canned on 02/23/23, so this is 2 1/2 months old.
Look: Pours a medium gold color with a thick white head. The head crumbled, leaving lots of large, rocky bubbles. There is a bit of small particulate suspended within this beer. Tiny bubbles gradually rising up the glass. After pouring the rest of the can, the beer became moderately hazy.
Smell: Nice aromas of bright lemony acidity and lots of hops. Floral notes as well as some medicinal notes. It's very earthy and somewhat herbal. Lots of clove.
Taste: This is really tasty. It is so drinkable and refreshing. Up front, the carbonation is spritzy and it has a touch of acidity and notes of Asian pear. The beer finishes very dry and moderately bitter. Lots of peppery notes on the finish.
Feel: It is in between light and medium bodied. For a 4% ABV beer, it's certainly pulling its weight.
Overall: To me, this is almost like a shandy without the sweetness. It's like a beer-lover's lemonade with tons of hops, totally dry, low ABV, light, refreshing, and a nice bitter finish.
