Had on tap. Opaque brownish black pour with a finger of darker brown foam. Aromas of heavily toasted caramel, barley, bourbon, molasses, and dark fruits, the wine and oak tannins back. Taste has the usual bourbon barrel backed elements for most of the sip in a rich and heavy way, rustic flair from both barrels is wonderful but the end is the breath taker: dry bright white wine influences that bring out the dark fruit and rustic notes. Unique and powerful! A sipper but enjoy the nuances!

I had this on draft 10/15/25 @ Half Acre's taproom.
Opaque brown/black appearance.
Small dark tan head; no lacing remained.
Soju, leather, mild caramel & faint blackberry notes in the nose; booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Dry raisin, blackberry & mild leather flavors up front; caramel & sake notes on the finish.
Unique, bold & borderline great.
