Duplicity embodied in our visions of the Twin-Voiced Goddess... 48° from the center of the universe, rising with the morning’s beautiful light, and the evening’s desperate passions. Duality of complex light & shadow influencing how those in its path will express their passion and affection. This New-American Hoppy Ale is as complex as the two-faced Goddess, but always with its evocative eyes toward pleasure. Citra & Calypso hops combine to express aromas of tropical tangerine, mango-grapefruit, and orange-cream. As soft as our brilliant Morning Star, and as intense as the sultry Evening Star...Brilliant, bright, and shining one, let your light fill our hearts!

Pours a little cloudy, aroma and taste have soft grassy hops, oat, maybe a vague citrus background but nothing that ever really asserts itself. Fine but not a stand-out

Can of unknown date into a tulip glass.
L: Pours hazy pale yellow with 1 finger of medium density frothy white head with good retention and left spotted lacing.
S: Very lemony and grassy, bready undertones.
T: Quite lemony like the nose, but also grainy. So astringent I can't pickup much more. Finishes with some bitterness and ALOT of astringency that lingers on the palate.
F: Thinner bodied with high carbonation, tongue tingles quite a bit from the carbonation and astringency.
O: This was not appealing for my palate and preferences. Hoping this is an odd duck, as I'd really been looking forward to trying some beers from Foreign Object and this was not a good first one for me.

Can dated 5/30/18 into pint glass. Pours a hazy straw color with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is grapefruit, pine, maybe some orange, a little floral stuff going on - but nothing that stands out. Mouthfeel is absolutely on target, as is carbonation. Finish is astringent and bitter. A decent AIPA, but not one of my favorites.

Hazy dark yellow. Small silky head. On retention.
Can to snifter glass. Sampling after Double dry-hopped pseudo Sue so that's not really fair. The aroma is awesome tons of guava and grapefruit and some citrus lemon type stuff. Taste is nowhere near as impressive a little sour a little sharp little sweet. The mouth feels a little bit slimy and it has below average carbonation.

16 oz. can dated 5/30/18. Poured into Kane tulip glass.
L: 1F+ soapy white head. OK retention, leaves minimal lacing and a cap and ring. Partly hazy light copper color.
S: Nice sweet tangerine or mandarin orange with grapefruit and some earthiness.
T: Not quite there. Grapefruit and faint orange. Minor earthiness. Too much nothing.
F: Medium body, pretty aggressive carbonation for good drying. Construction not quite there, just not enough taste.
O: I think the taste befits an APA with a much lighter malt bill and ABV.
