Amber-orange body; decent head. Mild sour smell with a good deal of earthy graininess; rye and oats. A nice, low-key flavor, more grain than sour in character; mild tartness. Heavy body; soft and velvety on the palate; very mild acidic quality yet has a soft dryness overall.
This is a very nice beer, bringing together a soft, woody taste and aroma with a soft palate caressing mouthfeel. Well-balanced with nuanced complexity.
