Plenty of stark white foam sits on top of a very pale, make that nearly colorless, perhaps amber liquid. The foam disappeared very quickly, leaving no lacing inside the glass. So be it for this exercise of two twelve ounce cans being emptied entirely into a clear glass liter mug. The aroma is slightly more assertive than the color. There's a mild hit of sweet maltiness and moderate American Adjunct Lager hopping. At least, it offers more to the senses than the appearance. It's far too light in taste and moreso, body to get very specific. The best it offers is a lightly hopped drink, but it's so thinly bodied, that can't salvage this. The malt only provides some sweetness, but no body and nearly no flavor. Would this make a good session beer? No. There are non-alcoholic brews with much more flavor, character and mouthfeel. This would be bad enough at commercial beer prices, but to pay a craft beer tab for it would be ridiculous.
