A farmhouse ale with exclusively Vermont ingredients. The Peterson malts, Vermont-grown hops. and farmhouse yeast combine to form a dry, refreshing flavor with hints of fruit and spice. Enjoy it while relaxing in the meadows after your field work.

Can stamped 04/23/19.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking bright yellow mostly transparent color. The head fell off at a fair pace. Not much lace.
The aroma had a very nice blend of bubblegum, hay, grass, lemon, vanilla, crushed white pepper, vanilla cake and a light dose of Belgian yeasty spiciness rounds out the back end.
The flavor slightly leans into the sweet blend of the bubblegum, yeasty/doughy malts and vanilla cake. It gets a bit rustic/crushed peppery/earthy crisp to a baked doughy taste as it warms up. Mild sticky aftertaste of bubblegum, floral, lemon, yeasty/dough and Belgian yeast.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a wonderful sessionability about it (I could slam this all day!). Carbonation felt good. ABV felt appropriate. Mellow finish of earthy to peppery yeast and some hay.
Overall, pretty nice Belgian saison well worthy of coming back to. And would be a very nice beer with some halibut steaks.

Can. Hazy pale gold with head that fizzes down but not out and some lace. Beautiful lemon pepper and vanilla cake aroma and similar assertive but not cloying sweetness with some peach and apricot and medium light spicy peppery finish. Very soft palate and very fine carbo. TOTALLY FUCKING EXCELLENT.

16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a fairly bright body with some nice lacing. Nose of spice, farmhouse yeast, slight fruit, and a bit of funky smoke. Taste follows with a bit of fruit, spice, wet hay and leaves and finishes slightly crisp and dry. A definite earthiness going on here as well. Good feel and overall, a pretty good stab at a saison from S. Burlington, VT. Cheers!
