Poured from a bottle (6/17/19) into a Belgian glass
L: gorgeous, deep ruby red color with a nice lavender head that fades after a minute. Nice, thin lacing
S: great farmhouse funk to it, with a tart berry nose
T: where this beer fell apart for me, real shame. Black currant flavor came across far too hard and bitter for me, tongue just rocked by tannins can't get much else. Short finish
F: thin, refreshing, easy to drink in terms of feel (not so much taste)
O: a beer with great potential that fell short for me. not a drain pour, and it's improved as it's warmed (or else my palate is gone) but can't get over that first impression
