Pours a deep, dark brown with a finger of tan foam that settles to a ring, no lacing. Aromas of roast malt and a slight sweetness. Flavors are more abundant with a nice sweet toffee dominating among biscuit and mild nut presence. This is how I like brown ales - with low hop bitterness and focus on the malt. Well done!

On tap at the brewery. Pours an amber tinted brown, fairly clear allowing light to pass through when held up. Thin foam head settles fast into bubbly islands.
Aroma has some sweet malt, nuttiness.
Roasted nuts, sweet toffee and some doughy biscuit flavors.
Just under moderate carbonation and medium body, a hint syrupy.
A bit too much sweetness for me, but otherwise enjoyable brew.

Poured on draft into a 16 oz can shaped pint glass. Pours a very attractive dark mahogany, with a tiny little white head, that leaves behind little lace.
Smell is biscuit, toffee, cashew, and maybe a little cocoa.
Taste follows biscuit, nutty, toffee, and some hints chocolate.
Mouthfeel is medium, moderate amount of life, not really dry, and drinks very easily.
Overall not my thing, but if it was I would say this is very nice. True to style and very balanced.
