Poured on draft at the brewery.
Pours a clear deep amber color with almost no head whatsoever. The head settles into absolutely nothing. Leaves some solid lacing.
The aroma is malty and faintly spicy. Notes of rye bread and caramel, as well as a hint of pine.
The flavor is just straight up liquid rye bread. That's it. Not awful, but it's missing so much.
The feel is light bodied with moderate carbonation. Relatively crisp, but a tad watery.
Overall, a fairly mediocre amber lager. It just has nothing going on. I appreciate beers that don't rely too much on hops but this one is a bit too one-note for me.

Poured at the Brewery part of a flight. Pours a beautiful rubyish red, with a half inch sticky white head that leaves really nice thin lines of lace.
Smell is biscuit, caramel, toffee, apricot, and a little hint of pine.
Taste follows caramel, biscuit, toffee upfront, with a little apricot and pine in the very balanced finish.
Mouthfeel is a big medium considering its ABV, gentle carbonation, not dry at all, and very drinkable, but for me drinks bigger in body and flavor than its modest 5.2% ABV.
Overall this a very nice amber, that would make people stop drinking Killian for ever.
