A hoppy IPA with flavors of sweet cream from the added lactose.

Murky looking. Smelled like dirty socks. Tasted like a bitter cream-sickle, not in my wheelhouse at all.
Yowza this was bad. Back to the drawing board with this one, folks.

Sampled at the brewery on February 18, 2018.
This was murky, milky looking pale yellow with a white head.
The aroma definitely live sup to its lactose, creamy and milky character with a distant floral note around the back. Doughy.
The body is medium and creamy.
While there is a moderate sweet bready flavor everything is overtaken by the doughy, milky, and creamy sensations. They call it a New England IPA. It looks the part but the hops are more muted than the other ones I've had.

Poured on draft at the brewery, beer is less than a week old. Pours a very hazy yellow orange, like a glass of OJ and Pinnaple juice poured half and half, with a solid 2 finger head that leaves thin wisps of lace behind as it slowly settles into a thin layer of bubbles.
Smell guava, passion fruit, pineapple, tangerine, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows tropical front to back, guava, passionfruit, giveaway to pineapple and a gentle kiss of grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is a big sticky medium, plenty of prickly carbonation, not dry but rather sticky from the insane amount of fresh hops used to brew this gem, and I am trying to slow myself down because it is so incredibly tasty, but because of the body and flavor it feels like it is 8% ABV.
Overall this is outstanding, Nate and Sam are getting better and better all the time and you know what, they were damn good to start. Excellent beer.
