Poured straight from the source into a can shaped pint glass. Pours a very attractive orange yellow with a solid one finger head that leaves nice big streaks of lace behind.
Smell is papaya, mandarin orange, lemon peel, pineapple, and a hint of grapefruit rind.
Taste follows tropical papaya, mandarin, lemon, and some grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is about medium, light and crisp with a nice soft feel, not dry but a tad sticky, and very drinkable but you feel like you are drinking a beer closer to 6.5 or 7.
Overall I am excited to see what they keep doing with this series. Really a nice single Hop and perfect for the dog days of summer.
