Poured into a 16 oz tulip pint glass canned on 10/25-2020. Pours a very attractive mahogany with a finger plus dark tan head that leaves nice thin streaks of lace, with solid retention. 4.25
Smell is oaky bourbon, vanilla bean, toffee, maple, and coffee grounds. 4
Taste follows but a bit bigger and better. Coffee, vanilla, toffee, maple, brown sugar, and a little sweet bourbon in the smooth balanced finish. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, not dry, not overly carbonated and it works really well, and at 6.5% it drinks bigger but is really easy going down. 4.25
Overall a really nice and rather complex brown ale that will surely make the cold weather more enjoyable. 4.25
