Poured into a 13 Snulip glass at Kettlehead. Pours pitch black and yielded a solid finger dark tan head that settled rather quickly and left some thin streaks of lace. 4.25
Smell is bourbon and oaky charred vanilla, dark chocolate, dry roasty coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, leather, and again did mention some alcohol vapers? 4
Taste follows bourbon and dark chocolate immediately hits your palate with some coffee, vanilla, tobacco, char, leather, and some nutty toffee sweetness. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, the correct amount of life, it says 10.5% and truly believe it is bigger and definitely drinks bigger than its ABV, but is so darn complex it is very approachable. 4.25
Overall I am digging this one more than the first version, mouthfeel is bigger and the flavors all jell this time around much better. Excellent BA Stout.4.25
