Murky as all get-out, Hookah is easily in the top half of the many NEIPAs from this prolific local brewer. All the now-iconic Kettlehead characteristics are present - murky, juicy, low-bitterness, smooth mouthfeel, clean finish. Very enjoyable.

Gift from @Sawdog505. Very cloudy orange juice like appearance. Minimal head and lacing. First thought on smell was “well, it’s called Hookah for a reason”, cause it was dank ganja. Slight pineapple and tangerine notes. Taste is tangy and citrusy-lemon, guava, pineapple, orange, guava, but then there’s a hint of the dank green on the back end. Nothing is too overpowering or in your face. Feel is like the taste in its subtlety; light to medium bodied, slightly mouth watering, definite booze presence. Second Kettlehead New England IPA I’ve had in two days, and the best thing about both of them is the fact that they’re both complex yet subtle, which isn’t what I’ve come to expect from the style. These guys do good stuff.

A big shout out to Sawdog505 for this can!
A - Dark orange with dense white lacing.
S - Intense tropical fruit dankness: pineapple, nectarine dominate the nose. Nice meaty fruit pulp on the nose.
T - Juicy red grapefruit, nectarine, pineapple, spicy fruit rind, some pepper notes, finishes balanced with nice juicy sweetness and the perfect amount of citrus bitterness.
M - Thick and chewy.
O - The is fantastic and the 8% ABV gets completely lost in the mix. A very easy drinker. Thanks, Tim!

So it is a gorgeous Friday night and tonight I surprisingly have the newest Kettlehead Brewing NEDIPA. Brewed with 7 different kind of hop hash. Pours a very hazy yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves big thick rings of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Smell is loaded with guava, tangerine, marijuana, and a little bit of grapefruit. 4.25
Taste follows tropical upfront with guava, tangerine, pineapple, dank hints of maryjane, and some grapefruit bitterness in the bold finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is bigger than most, soft gentle carbonation, a touch sticky but not dry, and at 8.1% crazy drinkable with a ton of flavor. 4.5
Overall I love the name and the beer. Crazy tasty. 4.5
