This one is easily in the top half of the many NEIPAs from this prolific local brewer.
All the now-iconic Kettlehead characteristics are present - murky, juicy, low-bitterness, smooth mouthfeel, clean finish. Very enjoyable.

Had a 12oz pour with lunch on 04JUN20 at the brewpub...

Poured a cloudy, murky yellow. Had a creamy off-white head, which lasted well, along with excellent lace. Had a juicy aroma of orange, tangerine and apricot. Body was medium, and it had some light prickle on the tongue.

Taste is semisweet citrus, with more apricot, orange and tangerine, and a bit of pineapple. A very solid, easy-drink brew. Prosit!!

Big thanks to Sawdog505 for this can!

A - Opaque dark orange color with frothy vibrant white lacing.

S - Citrus rind, lime, mandarin orange.

T - Mandarin orange, lime, citrus, light spiciness,

M - Big, thick, soft, viscous, some stickiness on the lips.

O - I'm sounding like a broken record giving these this brewery kudos, but I guess I am. My palate ignores the hype and speaks its mind.

Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 8/27/19. Pours a hazy yellow with a solid finger plus sticky white head, that leaves big thick rings of lace with excellent retention. 5

Smell is pineapple, tangerine, papaya, honeydew, and just the smallest amount grapefruit rind. 5

Taste follows juicy as heck tangerine, pineapple, honeydew, papaya, and just the most subtle of grapefruit in balanced finish. 5

Mouthfeel is big but extremely soft almost creamy, not dry but slightly sticky from all the fresh hops, and at 8% incredible drinkability but packed with flavor. 5

Overall well I went in with huge expectations and this one totally delivered the goods. I would put up with all the great NEDIPAs around the country. I can’t think of a thing I would change. Perfect 5
