Pretty heavy on the coconut, which is impressive from hops only, but a bit much on the palate! Was not interested in having more than one of these badboys at at time.

Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 12/4/19. Pours a dark and hazy orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25
Smell reminds me a little of old school Oskar Blues Gubna, some garlic, onion, pineapple, coconut, apricot, marijuana, and a little hit of grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows garlic, onion, pineapple, coconut, upfront with some apricot, marijuana, and grapefruit in the balanced but long lingering finish. 4
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, a touch sticky but not dry, and at 8% ABV very approachable but a ton of flavor. 4.25
Overall being upfront this one is not for the haze only snow flakes, but for old school West Coast DIPA fans it is different and tasty if you don’t expect a total juice bomb this will bring you back 2010ish when hops where bold and aggressive. 4
