Meet Darrel 2000. He's been with us since the beginning. He's a die hard worker who lives to do his job. He has suffered many life threatening injuries but never gives up. This hoppy concoction was made for him!

16oz undated can.
Pours turbid gold with an inch-plus of dense white froth. Plenty of ropey lacing and persistent retention. Pineapple, pear, weed, and peach in the nose. Short of pungent and a bit mild for the style. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Juicy citrus aplenty on the palate with zero malt and minimal bitterness. Pineapple, melon, grapefruit, and cracked garlic. Finishes a bit sweet with lingering tropicals.

Murky brownish-yellow pour with a thin cap that leaves minimal lace. Aromas of candied overripe fruits and earthy, slightly medicinal notes. Flavors are thankfully not as disagreeable as the look or smell, though they are still quite strange and follow the nose directly. Rather sweet with the overripe fruit thing dominating. A little bit of pine bitter mid-sip saves this one for me. Finish is again sweet and slightly cloying. Strange stuff with a full mouthfeel, it doesn't go down fast. Worst beer I've had from this otherwise-exceptional brewery.

So what a wild 2 weeks as stuff has gotten pretty darn crazy. Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 3/18/20. Pours a hazy orange with a two finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25
Smell is earthy herbal hops, mandarin, pineapple, ripe melon, and apricot. 4.25
Taste follows hard to describe except herbal, melon, tangerine, pineapple, and apricot really tasty. 4.25
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry, and at 7% it drinks that way and really goes down easy. 4.5
Overall another really nice NEIPA from Kettlehead. 4.25
