New from Kettlehead’s rotating hop series with lactose, oat, and this time double dry hopped with Amarillo. Canned on 3/25/20. Pours a hazy yellow with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace as it slowly settles yielding excellent retention. 4.5
Smell papaya, vanilla, tangerine, pineapple, and some apricot really pleasant. 4.5
Taste papaya, tangerine, pineapple upfront with apricot and vanilla in the really balanced and tasty finish lingering on the palate and well balanced. 4.5
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, perfect gentle soft carbonation, a little sticky but not dry, and at 6.5% ABV it drinks slightly bigger but easy going down for sure. 4.75
Overall another impressive NEIPA from my favorite local. This stuff is really really tasty. 4.5
