Easily one of my favorite series from these excellent brewers. But this is my least favorite yet of the series, Sabro is just very varied in its applications. All the now-iconic Kettlehead characteristics are present - murky, juicy, low-bitterness, smooth mouthfeel, clean finish. Very enjoyable.

Semi-opaque pour capped by a decent collar of foam, adequate retention, and sparse lacing. Aromas of coconut up front, sprinkled in with some orange peel, tangerine, mango, and lemon zest. Taste follows but is a bit heavy on the coconut for my liking, I'm rating this to style, not the particular use of hops. I also feel like the supplementary ingredients don't mesh well with the base beer, and this is an instance where the aromas and flavors aren't seamless, nor do they play particularly well off of each other. Yeah, maybe I don't like Sabro. I do like Kettlehead, though. I found the finish soft, chewy, and sticking. Cheers.

Thinking my next would be something Cold Yellow And Hoppy. Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 4/29/20. Pours a hazy yellow, with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves a thin ring of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5
Smell coconut, pineapple, mango, papaya, vanilla, and apricot. 4
Taste follows coconut and pineapple hit first mango, papaya, vanilla, and apricot finish this very tropical NEIPA with lactose, oats, and DDH with Cryo Sabro. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, sticky not dry, soft and creamy, and at 6.5% drinks bigger in flavor, but goes down rather easy. 4.5
Overall I am digging this, very different. If you aren’t a fan of coconut flavor, probably not your thing but really tasty stuff from Kettlehead. 4.25
