This one was a mixed bag, and with such better offerings had from these folks, was kind of a let-down. The hop bouquet on the nose was stellar, but didn't translate well in the flavors. Perhaps my palate was off. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can!
A - Dark golden tan color with dense, creamy white lacing that sticks to the sides of the glass.
S - Papaya, apricot, peach, and some slight fruit rind spiciness.
T - Follows the nose: Papaya, peach, apricot, nectarine, some light peppery spiciness. Finishes on the sweeter side with nice lingering spicy fruit.
M - Full bodied with a pillowy mouthfeel and the typical "chewiness" associated with the New England opaque bombs. Leaves a slight cottony/textile texture on the palate.
O - This is a fantastic D-IPA and really enjoying this one.

Pours a hazy yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma ripe melon, passionfruit, papaya, peach, mango, and apricot really nice. 4.25
Taste follows cantaloupe, passionfruit, papaya, mango, peach, and apricot really well balanced. 4.25
[IMG] Mouthfeel is above average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle almost creamy carbonation, and at 8% ABV really easy going down. 4.5
Overall this is a really tasty batch, pretty darn impressed with this one from Kettlehead. 4.25
