From a 16oz can, undated - but sometime within the past week or so, I think. Served in a goblet, cuz I fancy.

Pours an opaque, dull orange-gold with a scant half finger of soft, soapy suds. Retention is unremarkable, leaving a feeble, fizzy collar and the odd fleck of lacing.

Smells of sweet, sticky ripe fruit, guava, peach pineapple, melon and cupcakes. Nice.

Taste is bitter, biting and sharp. All the fine ripe fruits are still there but with a sharp, icy edge that almost comes across as peppermint.

Feel is juicy and dank, medium bodied and brightly carbonated. It drank down so easily I almost didn’t have time to write about it.

Overall, a fine and tasty NEIPA... NEDIPA, I guess, although you wouldn’t know it. You know, every time I pull into the Kettlehead parking lot I scan the patio for SawDog because I’m worried he’s going to beat me up for not reviewing Kettlehead beers right, but I think this time I’m going to rate one higher than him.

Poured into a 16 oz can shaped pint glass canned on 9/23/2020. Pours a very hazy orange, with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5

Smell is peach, ripe melon, pineapple, mandarin, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows pineapple, peach, cantaloupe, mandarin orange, apricot, and a little grapefruit bitterness in the lingering bold finish. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above medium, a tad sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8% loaded with flavor, but goes down rather easy. 4.5

Overall this is another excellent NEDIPA with an excellent name. I feel this one may get better as it settles in the can for a few days, but a really nice beer from this less than 3 year old brewery. Cheers all. 4.25
