From a 16oz can, part of a 4-pack picked up at Kettlehead a few weeks back....
My glass holds a dense, opaque black brew. Has a nice, frothy mocha-tan head which lasts well, with decent lacing on the glass. Aroma has some choco, vanilla, light maple and a hint of bourbon. It's not overly strong, though. It's a bit light and airy on the tongue, though the prickle level is rather low. Body is a good medium; could be thicker, though.
Flavor has dark choco and mocha, with a solid but not overpowering maple lean to it. Throw in a bit of dry cocoa powder on top of some subtle bourbon action and there ya go.... Has a nice level of semi-sweetness to it. A solid RIS! Prosit!

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 1/24/2021 and aging in maple barrels since October 2021. Pours a very attractive dark brown with a 2 plus finger sticky light brown head that leaves a few thick streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.25
Aroma maple, bourbon, cocoa, molasses, pipe tobacco, leather, vanilla, toffee, and a hint of coffee. 3.75
Taste follows maple stands out, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, cocoa, molasses, pipe tobacco, leather, and again just a little faint hit of coffee. 4
Mouthfeel is a little above medium, fairly gentle carbonation as it should be, maybe a little dry, and at 9.5% it drinks bigger in flavor, but smaller in body. 4
Overall this is a solid imperial stout, but was really hoping for more. It is fairly complex and I do appreciate that. Would recommend. 4
