Hazy yellow pour with a massive foamy white head. Good retention. Bubbles for days.
Banana esters dominate the aroma. A bit of wheat and bubble gum. Some citrus, apple and very faint clove.
The taste is very yeasty and bready. There's plenty of banana, bubblegum and sweet red apples with the foggiest idea of clove spice on the finish.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy with a very light crispness.
Overall, this is a pretty solid Hefeweizen. It definitely leans more on the banana esters rather than the clove, so if you prefer the sweeter notes rather than the spicier ones then you should definitely enjoy this one.
