Kettlehead Brewing IPA-Imperial/Double New...

A white toned, hazy straw gold and crazy good lacing abounds in the glass.
Phantasm powder and a righteous hop saturation gives this aroma's of mango, citrus, and crushed white grapes. Fresh and smooth feel is juicy and soft. A blast of dry mango chunks, white grape, and candied orange slices in the deep and complex flavor. Dry and husky hop tones come at the end.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 8/10/23. Pours a very attractive hazy yellow with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves big gobs of lace with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma is white grapes, mandarin, peach, mango, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows buttery Chardonnay, mandarin, peach, and apricot. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8% rather bold flavor but easy going down. 4.5

Overall I am normally a fan of phantasm but I think they figured out the balance and I am enjoying this one with Riwaka, Citra, Nelson, and Phantasm worked out for me. 4.25

16oz undated can.

Pours cloudy yellow with an inch of dense white. Moderate retention and lacing. Pungent in the nose with white grape, peach, mango, tangerine, and grapefruit. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. White peaches, grapeskins, candied orange, and dried mango on the palate. Finishes juicy with minimal malt or bitterness.
