Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my.5 L dimple mug. Picked up at the brewery during a recent trip to New Hampshire. Date stamp is 07/19/2023...I think, its pretty difficult to read.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with many fine streams of carbonation rising to the surface. A thin bleached white head of 1 cm foams up and is a wispy surface covering soon after the pour.
Aroma is pretty mild, but I get some sweet bread notes and a bit of cracker (unsalted saltine) with a faint hint of spicy hop note in the background. NO ABV hints.
First sip reveals a light body with fine tingly carbonation. Very smooth easy drinking texture. My mug is emptying quickly!
Flavor is on the mild side, but I get some toasted bread, cracker notes and again a bit of spicy hop on the finish. I also get a bit of vinous white grape, which I seem to get in a lot of golden lagers on the flavor profile.
this is a very drinkable lager beer, that is pretty straight forward and approachable. I would drink again and would enjoy these at a fantasy sports draft or other event where I can appreciate a well made beer, but not need something overly complex.

From a 16oz can, undated - another brewer who stopped dating their cans when they started distributing them? Served in a willi becher.
Pours a slightly cold-hazed pale honey-gold with a scant finger of suds. The head didn’t really stick around long enough to get much of a look at, just left a small, fizzy collar.
Nose is sweet and malty, almost savory. Aroma of sugar-frosted breakfast cereal, berries, apple muffins. Smells really good.
Taste is a little less sweet and a lot more spicy-bitter than the nose. Tasting bread roll and black pepper, berries, fruit spread.
Feel is smooth, round and relatively full bodied but maybe a tad under-carbonated to my tastes.
Overall, a nice helles from a place you wouldn’t necessarily think to look for one. I was at the brewery yesterday and had a flight (and a half) with all their lagers (well, one was a kölsch) and this was my favorite. Not quite as impressive out of the can, but still pretty good. Pisses me off about the can dates, though.
