Our newest DIPA hopped with Citra, Rakau, Waimea and Riwaka. That sounds like it slaps! We want all of our beer to slap you across the face with the extensive aromas and flavor profiles that each hop brings. We are known for the sheer number of hops we put into each batch and this one is no different.

From a 16oz can with an illegible date-stamp - but it least it has a date-stamp. Thank you, Kettlehead. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy-pale yellow-gold that clears to translucent toward the bottom. A big, fluffy two finger-plus head slowly collapses in on itself into a puffball of a cap with spattered wads of sticky lacing.
Nose is sharp, herbal and citrusy. Aromas of lemon zest and mint.
Taste is yeasty, cakey, leafy, fruity. Tasting white cake, papaya, lemonade, white grape, and a woody sort of cedar/mint/menthol character. Sticky apricot, tangerine and cloying melon become pronounced as it warms. Bitterness is low but not totally absent.
Feel is juicy, doughy, medium bodied with zesty, seltzer-like carbonation.
Overall, a mighty fine NEDIPA, a little tame by KH norms maybe except that they do contrive to wring out a huge aromas and flavour notes from their hops.
