I hadn’t had anything from this brewery in a while before coming across this beer. Definitely a lot of fruity notes coming through. Despite the name, I wish it had some more piney to it. Decent enough but not sure if it would be a repeat purchase for me. Their haze on the other hand…..

Enjoyed from a 16oz can out in The 'Zebo.... filled on 06MAR25....
Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden color. Has fine, steady carbo meandering topside. Head is a 1.5" dollop of rocky, light tan foam. Recedes down to a decent covering layer with A-1 lacing. Aroma for Piney? Why, yes! It's rindy and pithy, with grapefruit action and a bit of toasty malt. Body is medium, with a light, fairly smooth feel going down.
Taste is semisweet from the start. Has some caramel and toasty malts at the outset. Then fruity notes kick in, with apricot and tangerine picked up. It's like a slab of toasted multi-grain bread slathered with marmalade. Though I wouldn't go out of my way for Piney it's still a decent, tasty brew... Prost!!

Picked up a single can at Cedarville Wine and Spirits in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about four dollars. My eighth brew from these guys. Canned on date rubbed off. Solid.

Piney
Kettlehead Brewing
IPA - American
You know I love the good 'old Pine and bitter high alpha acid West Coast hops!. This one has a little less malty backbone, a lighter malt, and slightly smoother. The hops are pine, bitter, earthy with subtle fruits all around the place
