Illinois fruited beer in the PNW! Got this one off from Tavour. Chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass.

Look: Purple like blackberries. Small finger size head that dissipates quickly. Little lacing as we drank.
Smell: Deep berry smell with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and malt. The cinnamon is subtle but once you know it is there you get it.
Taste: Blackberry in the nose with a subtle acidic but nice berry sour following. Intense berry notes in the middle with vanilla and trailing notes of cinnamon. The malt is subtle but gives the pie character nicely fitting the berry sour, making this exactly as advertised (a slice of blackberry pie). After taste stays around for a while, so if you like blackberry pie, the post berry-mash is nice.
Feel: Acidic/sour front end, a tickle of carbonation lasting, somewhat full mouthfeel with no real fruit thickness like some breweries do with this type of beer.

Man for a fruited beer this is yumstown. Exactly as advertised, blackberry a la mode. The lactose adds to the thickness and accents the vanilla. The berry notes fit well with the cinnamon and vanilla. They suggest adding a bit of whipped cream for the full pie flavor but that was just weird for me. Cheers!

Great smell! Starts with a little sour Taste then goes sweet with a blackberry taste mixed with vanilla and maybe a little cinnamon. Great and different beer for sure!

Pours an opaque reddish purple. The smell is of blackberries, cinnamon, and vanilla. It really smells like blackberry cobbler. The taste is slightly sour blackberries up front with hints of cinnamon in the middle and a somewhat sweet vanilla finish. It goes down more than easily and overall is really good. The brewery recommends trying it with whipped cream and that turns it into an incredible dessert beer.
