Weirdly tastes like high school and blood. Just a bit like when you bit your lip a good hour ago. But not in a bad way. I would drink it while sitting at a diner in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. On Edgeley.

NO can date
Pours a creamy foamy almost 1 finger head with moderate retention, fair soapy lacing, semi clear slight chill haze med golden tan color

Nose cereal grain, straw, corn, maize, a bit of minerals and possibly chlorine skunky like character, herbal leafy like hop,

Taste brings mild sweet malt, malt extract kinda thing, straw, corn, fibrous character, very herbal leafy earthy hop that I'm not a fan of, some mineral notes and a bit more weird skunky-like possibly chlorinated water thing, some bitterness lingering

Mouth is med to lighter bod, a bit of a soft lager but not a ton, med-higher small bubble carb

Overall not a fan of this one, some off characters

I bought a can at the lcbo in Ontario 473ml at 5%.
poured a frothy 2finger head that went down quickly but left a lace as you drink it. right until the end where the beer went almost flat
the taste was very easy drinking and enjoyable to drink.
smooth good carbonation level and didnt see a brew date on can .
Overall a good craft beer .

473 ml can served cold-ish into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $3 CDN. Canning date of Feb 3, 2020.

Appearance - Pale golden color with a big head that recedes fairly quickly. No lacing good clarity and lots of bubbles.

Smell - Clean and grainy, subtle bits of caramel and floral notes too.

Taste - Lots of grain up front, not much else, but quite bready and fades away quickly. Slight residual bitterness form the hops.

Mouthfeel - Light body, carbonation is present but good be more crisp and dry finish.

Overall - Pretty damn solid local craft lager. Wouldn't turn my nose up at another.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jul 29 2019 and best before Jan 29 2020. Served barely chilled.

Pours a relatively clear medium golden hue, topped with nearly an inch of soapy, foamy white head that slowly withers away over the next five minutes or so. A quarter-inch cap and a wide, frothy collar stick around for considerably longer, framed by a tight band of thick lace; quite attractive in the glass. Nothing of particular interest on the nose - grainy malts, cereal sweetness, some grassy hay and straw, and just a touch of apples. Standard craft lager fare.

Clean tasting and straightforward, exactly what I'd expect from a quality craft lager. Grainy, bready palt malts are the dominant aspect of the flavour profile, accompanied by a lighter cereal sweetness at first, and followed up by a subtly grassy hop bitterness towards the finish. Just a touch of pale malts/grainy sweetness as the aftertaste commences, but it fades quickly. Light in body, with average carbonation levels that provide a gentle prickliness to the mouthfeel; fantastic drinkability.

Final Grade: 3.67, an acceptable B grade. Make Tracks is a well-made, totally unobjectionable craft lager - not bad for a beer that is marginally cheaper than a lot of the competition in that category. I don't typically serve lagers when they're this 'warm', but there's no doubt that doing so helps to reveal technical flaws that might otherwise be missed. The good news? I didn't notice any, which means this beer should remain tasty up until its BB date, and possibly longer than that - at least, if stored properly, which unfortunately is a crapshoot at the LCBO these days. As a general rule I prefer pilseners over this kind of stuff, but this is a worthwhile lager that I plan to return to again.

Pours hay coloured with a small head sitting on top. The smell is bready. The taste is crackers and grassy. Quite nice for a lager. Carbonation level is good. One of the better lagers
