At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their IPA Mix Pack 2 at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned February 18/25. My 11th beer from the Chatham, Ontario brewery, and 4th for 2026. With Sundae the cat's permission, of course...

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in the Sons of Kent IPA Boombox Vol. 2 mixed pack. Dated Feb 18 2025 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy, translucent lemon drop yellow colour, generating just over an inch of soapy, fluffy white head that wilts within the next several minutes. A quarter-inch curtain of even lace sticks to the glass, with a thin, creamy collar and filmy cap obscuring the surface. Subdued aroma of fruity hops; I'm getting hints of lemon, apricot, melon and strawberry, with shades of grapefruit, pineapple and sage.
It's a pretty darn good hazy IPA - not quite 'juicy', but it's got an interesting blend of flavours going on. Apricot, melon, passionfruit and lemon, with wheaty, bready malts and grainy sweetness. Herbal, resiny hops and a pithy bitterness assert themselves on the back end, with tropical fruit and citrus dissipating into a slightly resiny aftertaste. Medium in body, with middling carbonation levels that add some bite to this brew's soft, smooth mouthfeel. Reasonably drinkable, but one can is probably enough for me on any given night.
Final Grade: 3.95, a B+. Haze Wagon is yet another very solid IPA from Sons of Kent - I'm halfway through this mixer, and there haven't been any duds so far. I don't know if this is definitively better than their Juice Box hazy IPA, but I do think it's in the same neighbourhood - the quartet of modern hop strains that they went with make for a unique pale ale. In short, it may be lighter than Juice Box, but it's no less flavourful. Worth a try for sure.
